Important: Seasonal Water Levels & Amenities

Douglas Lake is a TVA impoundment of the French Broad River, and TVA lowers the water level during the fall and winter months. No guarantees can, or will, be given as to available water levels. Historical water level charts are available online.

Note: Kayaks are seasonal and are provided ONLY WHEN THE LAKE IS BOATABLE. Experience seems to indicate that there is usually boatable water to the dock from around the middle of April until the middle of October.
