Nestled on 10+ Lakefront acres, this 5,000 Square Foot home boasts its own private peninsula. The back of the house features a big, tree-covered, mowed backyard that butts directly to the lake with a gradual, easy, gentle slope to walk.

Sleeping Arrangements (16+ guests): 6 bedrooms and 12 beds. Additional blankets and fresh linens are readily available.

Coffee Bar: The coffee bar features a coffee machine that brews individual pods or by the carafe, a coffee grinder, ceramic cups, and to-go cups with lids. Complimentary coffee pods, tea bags, sugar, creamer, and a half pound of whole bean coffee are provided.

Douglas Lake is a TVA impoundment of the French Broad River, and TVA lowers the water level during the fall and winter months. No guarantees can, or will, be given as to available water levels.

Note: Pool is ONLY HEATED BY THE SUN. Kayaks are seasonal & are provided ONLY WHEN THE LAKE IS BOATABLE. Experience indicates there is usually boatable water from mid-April until the middle of October.

This property is perfect for lake swimming as the water becomes gradually deeper as you enter, with a shore free of weeds.
The new aluminum dock stretches over 80' into the water.
Attached to the dock is a jet-ski port with rollers—simply drive up on it to keep your ski out of the water.
The dock features a platform to lay out in the sun, 4 kayaks for your use, and a swim ladder.
The outdoor box on the lower back porch contains lawn chairs, life jackets, paddles, swim noodles, fishing poles, and tackle.
